They are a great Mexican bakery. They are consistently good. The only reason giving them a 4 star is because I love empanada calabasa and unfortunately, Sarai doesn't make them. I've been many times asking and they ever have them. Maybe they aren't as popular as concha's but they are in my humble opinion very delicious

Just ordered a yummy Tres Leches cake with fresh strawberries and it was delicious. So moist. Also the pastries here are so fresh and good. Not too sweet.
They have the best pan dulce in Newbury Park. They also sell tortas. I've had like 3 different ones. They were all good. Overall a good little place. I will give it 5 stars when they finally start accepting credit/debit transactions. Cash only!
This place is FANTASTIC. Best tacos and tortas in town by far. The sweet breads are fantastic too. Heads up- It's cash only.
They have a juicer! Had apple, carrot and orange available. I got a carrot juice (i think 12 oz) for 2 bucks!! She didn't juice it to order, but it was in a to-go cup in the fridge and tasted fresh. I also got a ham/cheese/jalapeno bun thing and it was good. The cheese was strange tho, like mayo-cheese. The size of a full sandwich for $1.50. Next time I'll try their hot food (saw burritos, tamales on the menu). Didn't see any flies :p Cash only, had to walk over to Ralphs for cashback, but it was the best $3.50 i've spent in a long time.
